Cara + Patrick
Cara and Patrick's beautiful Okanagan wedding was a pure delight to photograph. With their friends and closest families by their side, the two married by the beach. She was barefoot and he was rocking floral pants (amazing) and they celebrated the entire weekend. I loved the causal feel to their wedding, it allowed them and the guests to really focus on what was important.
I met Cara during a shoot I did earlier in the summer where she was the model. A true fashion lover, one would have thought that Cara would have been decked out in lots of jewelry, heels, the whole nine yards. But she was perfectly simplistic in a silk slip dress and a floral crown as her only accessory. I loved it. Her true beauty shined through. She was natural, she was herself, she was beautiful. And Patricks pants! I still can't get over how amazing they were.
All the best to these two love birds, thanks for having me capture your special day!

I love farm weddings. There is something so effortlessly beautiful in the land, the orchards and the old barns. Something about that atmosphere creates a calming and comforting feeling for me and I feel very inspired by it. Karly and Matt's wedding was a day spent with friends, family and water buffalo (see below!) and I'm not sure it gets any better than that. Special thanks to Christie for having me help out on this beautiful wedding.
Natalie + Nash
West Vancouver
Nat and Nash's West Van wedding was a joy to photograph. Planned by the talented ladies of Sweetheart Events, their wedding was classic yet fun with beautiful and playful details. Nash's grandmother made Natalie's dress and she did such an amazing job. I love it when the families collaborate to make what will become such a special family heirloom. Another thing I loved about this wedding was getting to use Nash's grandfathers' Austin Healey in some of the photos.
Thank you to both Natalie and Nash for having me document your special day and to your families who were so gracious and helpful throughout the day! Congrats! xoxo
